Sunny Days Make Everything Better

I'm sneaking this one in just in time for the deadline over at Retro Sketches this week. Here's Danielle's fun sketch:

I used stamps from I Like You by Reverse Confetti to make the sentiment. How true, yes?

I'm loving the Reverse Confetti projects I've been spotting around blogland. As you post your Reverse Confetti creations, don't forget to link them up to the Reverse Confetti blog for a chance to be featured as a 'FETTI FIND! For more info and this week's link list, click HERE. Prizes? You bet!

Want to be a ‘FETTI FIND?  Here are the details you need to know…
Each Monday on the Reverse Confetti blog we’ll be posting:
1. a few of these projects which will be that week’s ‘FETTI FINDS
2. a new link list for that week (posts made Sunday through Saturday)
From these ‘FETTI FINDS, we’ll choose a ‘FETTI FAVE!  The ‘FETTI FAVE will win the entire next stamp release and be asked to join the CONFETTI CREW as a guest during our next release for sneak peeks and the release hop. These will be announced on the last Monday of the month.
Just a few rules…
1.  Anything goes, as long as Reverse Confetti stamps are the main focal point of the project
2. No limit to the number of projects linked, but they must be posted to your blog or gallery that same week (no linking older projects)
It’s time to CELEBRATE THE CREATIVE SIDE OF YOU!

May Card Kitchen - Part 2

Today I have the remaining cards I made using the May Card Kitchen kit. Jillibean Soup's Irish Farm House Soup collection played a starring role in the May kit. I just love the rich, intense colors and the whole bicycle motif!

When You Dance
The fab sentiment is from one of the Bite-Size Bits (cut-apart journaling cards). I trimmed it down and turned it into a grouping of flags. Each one is curled slightly to give it a blowing in the wind look. There were decorative brackets above and below this sentiment, which were too good to waste, so I incorporated one into this next card. It made a lovely anchor for the strip of bicycles.

Celebrate
Aren't those mini clothespins adorable? And the wooden ruler/yardstick background? And the bicycles? Ah, so much to love about the Irish Farm House Soup line!

Sending A Line
An awesome postal themed stamp set was included in the May kit. I used the "sending a line" sentiment  here.

Special Delivery
A whole bunch of Irish Farm House Soup Pea Pods and stickers make up this little collage.

I mentioned yesterday that the May kit is sold out. I'm sure you can see why -- what a great collection of products!

For more information on the Card Kitchen, visit The Card Kitchen website. Also, check out The Card Kitchen blog and/or The Card Kitchen on Facebook, where peeks have begun for the JUNE kit.

Wow, the end of May sure has crept up on me. Some emails were going around about a picnic during a Memorial Day weekend baseball tournament, and my first reaction was, "why are we planning Memorial Day already?" I'll get my head screwed on right someday - I hope!

May Card Kitchen - Part 1

This has got to be the busiest Spring on record for the Sheffer family! I personally feel like I've been at a dessert buffet for the past three weeks: everything has been too good to pass up, and I'm left feeling satisfied, but also uncomfortably full. So that's my excuse for not posting my May Card Kitchen cards earlier :) Actually, Kimber has started peeks of the JUNE kit already on The Card Kitchen blog and on Facebook, so be sure to check those out. The June kit is available June 1! But first, some of my May kit creations:

Bicycle Thinking of You
The May Card Kitchen kit was filled with assorted die-cuts (Jillibean Soup's Irish Farm House Soup Pea Pods). I used a bunch of them on this first card -- the bicycle is my favorite!!

Flower Thinking of You
For this one, I took a red doily Pea Pod and a bunch of Irish Farm House Soup label stickers and made a flower. I love the wood flag sentiments, and especially that four came in this kit!

Good Times
My favorite card this month ... I've been increasingly drawn to cleaner, simpler designs lately.

Thankful
There were four of these sweet definition elements in the May kit -- love them!

The May kit has sold out, but for general Card Kitchen information, click HERE. Also, check out The Card Kitchen blog and/or The Card Kitchen on Facebook.

I'll share another four May cards another day this week. Thanks for stopping by!

Live. Laugh. Love.

Happy Thursday, friends. I have another card to share today using Reverse Confetti's fabulous Peacock Pretties set.

I had some fun playing with patterns on my backgrounds. For the sentiment panel, I repeatedly stamped the "LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE" sentiment in an irregular, wavy fashion, then topped it with a fussy-cut, multi-colored feather. On the olive card base, I created another pattern using watermark ink and another Peacock Pretties stamp. Rounded corners, a small strip of patterned paper, and a button with twine finish off yet another CAS card.

Reverse Confetti would LOVE to see your RC creations! Link your projects HERE on the Reverse Confetti blog for a chance to be featured as a 'FETTI FIND!

Each Monday we’ll be posting on the RC BLOG:

1. a few of these projects which will be that week’s ‘FETTI FINDS
2. a new link list for that week (posts made Sunday through Saturday)
From these ‘FETTI FINDS, we’ll choose a ‘FETTI FAVE to join the CONFETTI CREW as a guest during our next release for sneak peeks and the release hop.

Just a few rules…
1.  Anything goes, as long as Reverse Confetti stamps are the main focal point of the project
2. No limit to the number of projects linked, but they must be posted to your blog or gallery that same week (no linking older projects)

This one is called I LIKE YOU, and is a super fun set of mix-n-match sentiments with all sorts of cute possibilities. For links to all of today's peeks, visit the Reverse Confetti blog.

For today's card, I paired the "hugs" and "kisses" sentiments from I LIKE YOU with an XOXO element that I cut on my Silhouette. I'm having fun with a more CAS look than my usual!

I embellished with some colorful circles, baker's twine, and a wooden ampersand. The stamped black dots are also from I LIKE YOU. Lots to play with in this cute set!

Countdown to Confetti: Dream in Color and Peacock Pretties Sneak Peeks

Welcome to Day Two of Reverse Confetti Sneak Peeks! You're in for a treat, because today, the Confetti Crew is featuring two new sets, DREAM IN COLOR and PEACOCK PRETTIES. Visit the Reverse Confetti blog for links to all of today's peeks -- it's going to be colorful!

DREAM IN COLOR is a fantastic sentiment set that is part of the Reverse Confetti Key Words Collection. Look for more mix-and-match sentiments in future releases.

I went clean-and-simple today, with a rainbow of twine and buttons to compliment my "color me happy" sentiment. The hardest part was deciding which fantastic sentiment to use first! The letters in the word "color" are colored with Copic markers and both parts of the sentiment are heat-embossed for an extra sharp look.

PEACOCK PRETTIES is a gorgeous set of four images and four sentiments. I had so much fun playing around with the bold, graphic images in this set!

First I stamped some pattern onto the background using watermark ink. The feather is inked in four different inks, then trimmed out and popped up for dimension.

I incorporated two of the sentiments, the yellow "beYOUtiful" at the top and a subtle "LIVE. LAUGH. LOVE" in white along the bottom.

We have a little something for YOU!  Leave a comment on my post today for your chance to win a $25 Gift Certificate to REVERSE CONFETTI!  You have until 1 pm EST on May 7th to leave a comment.  (Only one comment per blog per day, please!).   The winner will be randomly chosen from all the DT blogs and Sneak Peeks for May 5-7th and announced on the Reverse Confetti blog at 5 pm EST on May 7th.  Good Luck!!

Exciting Confetti Crew News!

I have some super fun and exciting news to share today! The ever-so-talented Jen del Muro is starting her own stamp company, Reverse Confetti, and she has asked me to be part of her design team, the Confetti Crew. If there's anything to coax me out of my recent "semi-retirement," it's this!!

Jen has a special place in the stamp universe as a huge source of creative inspiration. She also has a special place in my heart as one of the very first friends I made in the paper crafting world, and I am truly honored to join her on this exciting journey! She has an uncanny ability to keep her finger on the pulse of all things paper crafty, and I cannot wait for you to see what she's put together for her first release. Peeks begin on Sunday, first release is May 8!!

Check out the Reverse Confetti blog, where Jen has introduced her new company and has begun introducing her design team, the Confetti Crew. You're not going to want to miss a thing, so "like" us on Facebook and subscribe to our newsletter.

Cheers!
